Going Home

I am going to be going to my hometown in about 1 month. I always plan my trip by where I am going to eat first. I love to eat! First I will have to go to Dale's BBQ. This is "REAL" BBQ… sliced pork with a homemade sauce that very few people know. Their special comes with steak fries a small slaw (I get beans) and a sweet tea! Oh my gosh… it is the best food ever! It is a must for me to go to while I am home.

Second is Publix! This is a grocery store chain that is only in Florida, Georgia, and a couple in Alabama. They have the best bakery EVER! Everything there is so scrumptious I cant even pick out one thing I would like to talk about… oh yeah I can….. It is called a chocolate parfait. It is in a chocolate shell and then on the bottom is a little piece of chocolate cake, then there is a layer of chocolate pudding, then there is a layer fo some of the fluffiest richest whipped cream… and then it is topped off with chocolate shavings! Holy moly it is by far the best dessert ever! YUMMO! They did not have a picture of the parfait but I uploaded a pictured of one of their wonderful desserts!

Next I will go to TGI Friday's b/c there is one so close… our closest in NC is 2 hours away! Then for the best part…. The fair is going to be going on while I am there. So I will have to visit the FFA booth. I am a FFA alumni and my chapter has done this for years. They have some of the best steaks, bbq sandwiches, cheeseburgers etc! I cant wait!!!! I will probably come back 10 lbs more than when I left but it will allll be worth it!
